LPS Colour Challenge # 3 {Brights + Brown}

How fun is this new Colour Challenge from Life.Paper.Scrapbook??!

I absolutely LOVE colour, so I was really happy that this new challenge had a great mix of all primary colours + the neutral brown. Or so I thought… When it came time, it actually wasn’t as easy as I first thought. 5 colours is a lot to mix up! However with the help of some gorgeous {old} bright papers from lily bee design, it came together in no time at all (albeit on the last day this challenge was due… whoops!).

“How to make a girl’s heart melt” by Sandra Bunch
Materials: lily bee design paper, Doodlebug paper, Echo Park washi tape (the ruler and blue chevron), some other washi tape, Echo Park stickers, Kaisercraft alphabet stickers, Amy Tangerine Thickers, chipboard heart, Doodlebug glitter.

As a first for me, I used a bit of glitter on a boy page. I think it was just enough, without being over the top. I used a regular chipboard heart, smothered it with some Glossy Accents and then some chunky Doodlebug glitter. And I’m not sure about you, but sometimes I miss ‘heart’ if it’s just a shape, so to ensure the title was read properly, I also used the Kaisercraft letter stickers on top of the glittered red heart.

My love for flair, badges and buttons lately meant I absolutely had to get some bright Papermania fabric brads on here.

Did you participate in this month’s LPS challenge? I’d love to see what you’ve come up with also, so feel free to leave your link below, or even just say g’day.

P.S.  How much cuteness can fit in one little boy… seriously?! I’m not even sure why I came up with some guidelines for him on how to make a girl’s heart melt… he has it down pat without even trying. I ♥ this little man so much.
