In all honesty, I have been slack about posting my Project Life spreads. I am new to the idea of pocket page scrapbooking, and I don’t feel I’ve really found my style yet. So I’ve been putting this off. But there’s this niggling feeling that I just need to bite the bullet and finally publish these suckers. And I really should practise what I preach and just appreciate that this is my life in pictures, and the stories that go along with them…not that they’re all perfectly displayed.
I do Project Life my way. If I want to add a 12″ page in there I will. If I don’t have enough photos to fill a double page spread each week, I won’t. If I miss a week, meh, so be it. I don’t go overboard with embellishments, as I’d much prefer to spend my time and money on my 12″ layouts where I can really let loose my creativity on a larger scale. And I don’t have a “style”. Sometimes I wish I did. But I feel much more at ease just going where the creative flow takes me. I like to use PL as an excuse to use up old products, so you might not see a whole heap of new stuff. I do use Project Life Olive Edition, but I also like to use up my stash.
So… being brave, over the next week or so I will begin sharing my Project Bunch album with you. I love checking out how other people do their scrapbooking also, so feel free to say hello and add links to your pages to 🙂
