Snap Happy with 5th & Frolic

Layout   /

I hope you all had a very happy Easter, and didn’t suffer from too many chocolate comas. But if you did – GO YOU!! Unfortunately, there is still way too much chocolate goodness in this house – this is the first day I haven’t sneaked in a chocy before breakfast… and I even had a delicious salad for lunch – it’s about time, really, I’ve been craving it for days. But enough about my atrocious dietary habits.

I’m hoping you squeezed in some scrappy time for yourself over the break. I certainly did (my family simply didn’t have a choice in the matter!) Below is what I came up with.

In a way I’ve been dreading scrapping these photos – I wasn’t sure how any papers or embellishments could possibly do this gorgeous girl justice. Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic came to the rescue though – perfect colours for a perfect princess.

Hi Susan. Thanks so much. I’m not sure which papers you’ve got (I did something different for me and bought the whole paper pack) but there’s some creams, teals and browns in there, which could certainly work for boys. The embellishments are a bit feminine. I was a bit surprised as to how many house themed embellishments there were though… I’m not sure how I’m going to use them yet! What I really like with the paper pad is you get a couple of extra designs on the strip above each paper (between the perforation and spine). That’s where I got the strip of dots above the banner from. There was the hanging hole in the middle so I just popped a brad in and no one is any the wiser (well, unless they read this post!)
